Booking Terms & Conditions

The Booking

Your contract is with Saints & Monks Tours Private Limited (INDIA) that exists between us when we have confirmed you on our tour of your choice and we have received your signed booking form and deposits. Make sure you filled every relevant section fully and correctly. To make sure that you and other people on the tour accept our booking terms and condition and are entering into the contract, we consider only booking form signed.

Deposit

Upon completion of the signed booking form a deposit of 25% of the tour cost per person to be paid to the company. The Balance Payment can be made in either cash in any form or cards either Debit or Credit whichever is comfortable.

Payment

You can make payments to Saints & Monks Tours Private Limited either by cash, cheque, Demand Draft, Credit card or electronic money transfer. However, if you make the payment by credit card, there will be a surcharge of 3% – which will be added to your invoice cost. We take an advance payment of 50 percent for the bookings which are made within 10 working days of tour departure.

Balance

You will receive an invoice along with a receipt for the already paid amount once you complete the booking form and deposit. The balance of the payment must be paid 10 days prior to the tour departure. Any booking made within 14 working days of the tour departure is considered to be late booking for which we would require 50 percent Payment. Rest of the balance we would collect when you are in India.

If you cancel your Holiday

In any case, if you or any member of your party wishes to cancel your holiday, then it is mandatory to notify us in writing, in any case the date of cancellation will be at the date on which notice is received in the Tours Department of Saints & Monks. The letter of cancellation must also be signed by the person who signed the booking form. As this incurs administrative cost and retention charges by hotel, the cancellation charges will apply on the following scale:

27-14 Days: 50% of the Tour Cost
13-07 Days: 75% of the Tour Cost
06 Days or less: 100% of the Tour Cost

But if, tour is cancelled due to medical grounds or for any conditions and if there is ample proof with documents we may waive off cancellation or can provide you with a tour later for which we decide mutually together.

If you change your booking

If you wish to change your travel arrangement in any way for your chosen departure date or accommodation after your confirmation invoice has been issued, we will do utmost to make these changes, but it may not always be possible.

Liability

a) Where there has been no fault on the part of the company, supplier or agents.

b) Where the failures are due to unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond your control.

c) Where the failures are attributable to a third party not connected with the provision of the holiday and is unforeseeable or unavoidable.

d) Where the failures in performance of the contract are attributable to the customer.

e) Where the failures are due to an event which you or your supplier even with all due care could not foresee or foretell.

To ensure that the organization maintains standards and provide a service that is acceptable to the passengers, we take all reasonable steps. The information within this website has been compiled with all reasonable care and is correct to the best knowledge of the company and is published in good faith.

Complaints

To provide an enjoyable and trouble free holiday to our passengers travelling on any of our holidays, we take necessary steps but occasionally plans go wrong. If you have any complaint, you can tell to your Travels Manger at the time who will do everything possible to resolve the matter immediately. Please notify the company within 28 days of the tour ending in writing if the situation is not resolved to your satisfaction. If you do not write to us within this time, this will affect the investigation and outcome of the complaint. Any disputes between clients and Saints & Monks Tours Private Limited shall be governed by Jurisdiction on India especially Delhi.

a) In the event of any disputes between clients and Saints and Monks Tours Private Limited the jurisdiction falls in Delhi

b) Dispute will be resolve before Arbitration.

Shipping Policy

Saints & Monks is Tour operator company and selling tour package. So there is No any shipping policy applicable for us.

Return Policy

Since we are Tour Operator company and selling tour packages so there is No any Return policy applicable for us. If you have any cancelation disputes please see our cancelation and refund policy.

Passports & Visas

To travel to India from overseas countries except for the citizen of Nepal & Bhutan, you need a 06 months valid passport and a valid Visa. And processing of Passport and Visa are not included in the tour cost. For anything related to E-visa & Passport details, you can check our section on E-visa.

Health

Any person who has a contagious disease is forbidden to travel also any person is found with such a disease during the tour then he/she will be asked to leave the tour. In that case, the person has to make his/her own arrangements to return home.

Early Check-in / Late Check–out

Almost in every good hotels, standard check-in / Checkout time are 1200 Hrs. (IST). So, cost of early check-in or late check-out is not included in the tour cost. We can always make a request for early check-in or late checkout if required but we do not guarantee that, as it entirely depends upon the policy of the hotel, time of the year and availability of the room.

Extra Uses of our Vehicle

The cost of the vehicle (car / coaches with the driver) like usage of vehicle like after transfer or after sightseeing is not included in the tour cost until or unless it is mentioned in the itinerary.

Rights to amend the itinerary if required

Once commenced, the tour will strictly go as per the itinerary finalized. If we come across any circumstances that are beyond our control, we reserve the right to change all or parts of the contents of the itinerary to ensure safety and well being of our esteemed passengers.

Surcharge

In case of sudden hike in fuel prices, schedule airfare and any taxes levied by the government, the price of your travel arrangement will be subjected to surcharges. However, we will try to absorb an amount of 2% amount exceeding over 2% will be surcharged.

Our Liability

Saints & Monks Tours Private Limited accepts the liability for any arrangements for your holiday, which are wholly within our control and therefore, accept liability to clients for the negligence of our agents, which include our employees. However, we would like to draw attention to the following circumstances, which fall outside our direct control or where for some reason we are not prepared to accept liability.

The Company shall, in no circumstances whatsoever be liable to the client or any person travelling with him or her for: Any death, personal injury, sickness accidents, consequential loss and / or damage, loss delay, discomfort, increased expenses or theft howsoever caused.

Any act, omission, default of any independent contractor or other person or by any servant or agents employed by them who may be engaged or concerned in the provision of refreshment, accommodation, carriage facility or service for the client or for any person travelling with him howsoever caused.

Saints & Monks Tours Private Limited is unable to take liability for commercial arrangements out of our control such as civil strike, natural disasters, reason of threat or war, industrial disputes, riots, terrorist activities, technical problems to the transport, extreme weather conditions, closure of the airports and sea ports and similar event out of our control, or are due to unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond your control.
