Day 1 Arrive Chennai	Arrive Chennai Upon arrival in Chennai you will met by our representative and later transfer to hotel. Day 2 Chennai – Kanchipuram	Buffet breakfast at the hotel Morning drive from Chennai – Kanchipuram – (Approx 75kms- 1-2hrs) Upon arrival in Kanchipuram proceed to check in at the hotel. Afternoon proceed to Visit Ekambareshvara Temple , Kailasanatha Temple & Kamakshi Amman Temple . Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 Kanchipuram – Mahabalipuram – Pondicherry B	Buffet breakfast in hotel. Morning drive from Kanchipuram – Pondicherry (Approx 126kms- 2-3hrs) Enroute proceed to visit Mahabalipuram which includes visit to Shore temples along with Five Rathas. Day 4 Pondicherry	Buffet breakfast in the hotel . Morning visit Pondicherry which includes visiting Immaculate Concepcion, Basicilia of sacred heart’s followed by visit to Aurobindo Ashram Evening explore Pondicherry or relax on the beach Overnight in the hotel .
Day 5 Pondicherry – Trichy - Tanjore	Buffet breakfast in the hotel . Morning drive from Pondicherry to Tanjore ( Approx 210 Kms-4-5hrs) Enroute visit different temples of Trichy Upon arrival in Tanjore proceed to check in at the hotel Evening visit the local markets – Evening Markets Overnight in the hotel.
Day 6 Tanjore – Madurai	Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Morning Drive from Tanjore to Madurai ( Approx 160 Kms-4-5hrs) Upon arrival in Madurai proceed to check in at the hotel Evening Visit the famous Indian temple – Minakshi temple Overnight in the hotel .
Day 7 Madurai – Thekkady	Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Morning Drive from Madurai – Thekkady( Approx 140 Kms-4-5hrs) Arrival Thekkady and check in the hotel Afternoon proceed sightseeing of Thekkady which includes Murikkady, Chellar Kovil, Evening visit famous Kellari marshal art show (Optional) Overnight in the hotel.
Day 8 Thekkady -Alleppey	Morning visit for Periyar national park for Nature walk Buffet breakfast at hotel Drive from Thekkady to Allepey ( Aprox 145 kms-04-05 hours) Upon arrival in Alleppey proceed to check in at the hotel. Evening Shikara ride in the back water Overnight in the hotel.

Chennai

Chennai or Madras as it was called before, is the capital city of Tamil Nadu, a State of the Indian Sub continent. It is a major industrial, commercial, cultural, economic and educational centre of the Southern India. Chennai City is the sixth largest populated in Indian cities. It is known as the "Detroit of India" because many automobile industries are located here.

There are many versions and legends as to how this city’s name kept changing from Madras and Chennai from time to time. Originally this city was called as Madras, from Madraspattinam during Nayakars rule. It was a fishing village situated to the north of the present Fort St. George. British bought the piece of land from the King of Vijayanagar and built the Fort St. George that houses today’s Secretariat complex of Government of Tamil Nadu. British retained the name as Madrasapattinam, though the locals called it as Chennapattinam. A Legend also says, this city was first named Chennai in honour of Damal Chennappa Nayakkar. In 1996, the then ruling Government of Madras, renamed it as Chennai and it stands good
